The Hives are a Swedish rock band that first garnered attention in the early 2000s as a prominent group of the garage rock revival, playing garage punk.

The Fixx are probably best known right now for being featured in the Toyota Advertisement.

All I can say about this one is, love the headdress. More on Brizilla and their latest self titled release Bridezilla

Old Crow Medicine Show is an old-time string band based in Nashville, Tennessee. Their music has been called bluegrass, Americana, and alt-country, in addition to old-time. Along with original songs, the band performs many pre-World War II blues and folk songs. They have been recording since 1998.

Phantom Planet is probably best known for providing the opening song to the show “The O.C.”

I am familiar with Jens Lekman but have yet to see him live, would love to learn more about this picture and what is going on in it.

All I can say about this one is it looks like a lot of fun. I personally had never heard of this artist till I saw the picture. Time to point the browser to google and find out more.

Woods at The Shank in Williamsburg. Part of Northside Festival. I don’t believe any photoshop was used on this picture, but something about the colors and the background really drew me in. It is one of my favorites of the set.

The reflection in his sunglasses is very cool.

Picked this one for piece of hair that seems to have a mind of its own.

When I was going through picking images this one really stood out. The feeling of the image made me want to go find some of their music and reacquaint myself, while at the same time find out if the music is dark and grim as this picture portrays it.

Really great shot, interesting lighting and of course the correct guitar posturing.

Another band I am not familiar with, but it does make my neck hurt.
